Professional Interests and Specialities

I work with couples, individuals, and families:

  • struggling with anxiety and stress-related issues;
  • in recovery/healing from trauma arising from death, divorce, job loss, accidents, past abuse;
  • who face life's major transitions such as marriage, birth, infertility, relocation, empty nest, retirement;
  • seek to improve their interpersonal relationships and life skills.

I provide integrated psychotherapy that includes psychodynamic, systems, communication, and cognitive behavioral approaches.

Background/Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than twenty-five years of experience providing mental health services to couples, individuals, and families. I have been in private practice in Oregon for over fifteen years. My prior professional experience was in mental health, community agencies, and schools in Iowa, New York, Colorado, and Oregon. I have served in a number of capacities, including clinical services, management, program development, and staff and graduate student supervision and training.
